Here are some deals that I took advantage of at Giant this week:
2 - Sorrento string cheese on sale 2/$6 - used $3/2 (5-02 S) and
the packages I saw hanging on shelf today had $5 mail in rebate when you buy 2. And the best part is limit 5 rebates per household. So you get free cheese plus make $2 for every 2 packs you buy.
Giant's Meal Deal:
Lloyds barbeque on sale for $4.99. Buy that get free 12 pack of hot dog or hamburger rolls plus free 2 ltr of Giant soda plus a bag of Giant brand tortilla chips. All that for $4.99.
Hatfield perfect portions marinated pork chops on sale for $7.99. Buy that plus a Knorr side for $1 get pack of klondike bars FREE. You can use the $2 mq off pork plus if anyone got the Giant coupon mailer some time ago that included $2 off Hatfield marinated pork. Giant will allow the use of their own coupons with a mq for same item. Could potentially get all that for $4.99 after coupons.
That same mailer included a coupon for $1 off box of Giant graham crackers. They are on sale for $2. The Giant store I frequent is the one on Rt 114. They have a display in back of store by meat coolers that contains graham crackers, marshmallows (on sale .89) and Hersheys 6 pack of choc bars ( on sale $3). The display includes a mq for $1 off all 3 items when purchased together. After coupons you could get those 3 items for $3.89
Don't forget this Sunday is mothers days. The Giant sale ad included a coupon for B1G1F Hallmark cards. If you did not get that there are coupon pads hanging in card aisle.
They are also advertising $5 off purchase of $50 worth of gift cards with bonus card. So even if you are not going to give gift cards for mothers day they have a wide assortment of other cards to choose from. If for example you plan on going to Home Depot this weekend to stock up on spring planting materials get your gift cards at Giant ahead of time and you will be $5 ahead.
