Oak Grove Farms: 2014 CSA Program Open Registration

I am sooooooo excited.  It's CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) time again at Oak Grove Farms!!!!

What is a CSA - it is a way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer.  Getting fresh produce all Spring, Summer and Fall.

Oak Grove Farms divided up the CSA into 3 Sessions:
  • Session 1: May 6th thru July 10th
  • Session 2: July 15th thru Sept. 18th
  • Session 3: Sept. 23rd thru Nov. 25th
Pay $200 before each session and you will get 5/8th of a bushel in fresh produce each week.  This calculates out to $15 each week.  How awesome.  I could easily spend more than that on the produce at the grocery!

You can go to Oak Grove Farms to sign up for the 1st session.  I know it sounds like a lot of money and a lot of produce, it's not.  This is my third year to participate and I can't wait.  Unlike a lot of CSA's you get to PICK what you want each week based on what's in season.

Another benefit is that you will receive added discounts and savings on produce and bedding plants.
