My October Spending Breakdown!

Here is my total spending and savings for October.  I had a better month tracking since this is my 2nd month keeping up on it for you!  I still say that I'm purchasing for 5 people, even though I have 2 children and they are both at college.  My 3rd child comprises my 5 nieces and nephews who "shop" in my basement when they are home during a college break, along with my kid's college friends who come over, EVERYONE hits up the basement before heading back to college!

I kept track of everything that I spent including:

  • Groceries
  • Eating Out
  • Newspapers
  • Coupons from a clippings service
  • Gas
September Results
My Monthy Budget is $800

Spending Shelf Cost = $1,671.60
Savings = $977.34
Amount Paid = $694.26
(My October Savings Rate was 58.47%, that's better than my September Rate of 35.80%!)

I spent $76.74 for 60 gallons of gas, $25.25 eating out, $17.94 on printer ink and $8.78 at TheCouponClippers.com making my grocery spending only $565.55 and my stockpile continues to grow!

I wonder how well I'll do in November, because I have Thanksgiving at my house (although, I already earned my FREE Turkey at Giant!)
