Nearing the End of Summer :-(

I know that I've been a little off the posts for the past 2 weeks.  We were on vacation and right when we came back, my only 2 children are headed off to college and tech school.  I will be an empty nester for the first time in 20 yrs.  This hasn't been a lot of fun, I'm sad and am trying to put on a good face for my husband and children.

For those of you that have gone thru it, you know what I'm talking about.  For those of you with small children, cherish EVERY MINTUE with them - it goes by soooooo fast.

My only saving grace is our yellow lab, Nala, my kids thought I spoiled her before they left - they are in for a rude awakening when they come home because she is not allowed to leave me!

Thanks for your understanding and I will try to get back in the swing of things - my house is a mess - we are using up all of my stockpile groceries - and it's hard to get motivated to go shopping again!
