Rebates for current PPL customers

Check out www.pplelectric.com/e-power for a link to rebates for certain e-star appliances.  From dishwasher to fridge to dehumidifier.  Also a rebate for programmable thermostats.  Purchase must be made from July 1, 2009 thru May 31, 2010.  Certain other requirements must be met and rebate comes in the form of a prepaid visa card. 

You will also find a phone number to call to schedule pickup and removal of old fridge/freezer.  Certain requirements have to be met like fridge/freezer must be plugged in and working when they arrive for pickup.  PPL will send a prepaid visa worth $25 for the freezer.  And if you would have an old room air conditioner to get rid of at same time they will give you another $25.

This is an attempt at helping us become more energy efficient.

I absolutely love http://www.thecouponclippers.com/.  It has saved me thousands of dollars over the years.  She generally updates her website shortly after midnight on Friday night with all of the coupons that will be coming out in Sundays paper.  Coupons ordered from her site that night will be shipped Monday and you will get in plenty of time for sales that end of Saturday.  There is also a neat feature on her sight called the tracker.  That keeps track of every coupon - which insert it came out in and the date it was released.  This is usually updated Wednesday or Thursday with just the list of what coupons will be coming the following Sunday.  That way you can get a sneak peak of the coupons that will be available on the site when she releases them Friday night.

My Giant PA savings - Hurry prices are only good thru 1-9-10

I went to Giant yesterday and earned $0.60 off gas and only spent $54.  What I bought:

8 - Special K cereal bars on sale 2/$4 - used 4 coupons good for $1/2 (01-03-10 RP or printable) also earned $0.20 gas rewards - as you can see this is something that my family will use and getting it for $1.50 ea is better than paying full price in the coming weeks.

5 - Special K cereal on sale $2.69 - used 2 BOGO printable and 1-$1/1 printable
1 - PAM Cooking spray on sale $2.49 I couldn't find a coupon :-( but I earned another $0.20 gas rewards

4 - Reach Advanced Design Toothbrush on sale $1.79 - used 4-$1/1 coupon (10-18-09 RP) earned another $0.20 gas rewards

4 - Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup on sale 4/$2 - used 1-$1/4 printable

2 - All 2X Liquid Laundry Detergent on sale $3.99 - used 2-$2/1 coupon (01-03-10 SS)

6 - College Inn Broth on sale 5/$3 - used 2-$1/3  coupon (11-15-09 RP)

Target:

You must search the travel size aisle.

Johnson and Johnson first aid travel kits (.97).  Use the $1/1 Johnson and Johnson first aid product  from 1/03 paper and get it free.

1 box of bandaid bandages (.97).  Use the $1/1 bandaid coupon from 1/03 paper and get it free.

1 bar of Johnson & Johnson Buddies soap for children (found in the baby product aisle).  Sells for .97.  Use the $1/1 any Johnson baby product from 01/03 paper  and get it for free.

Target currently has pepsi products on sale for $3 each.  (And I found a limited time release of pepsi and mt dew made with real sugar- none of that high fructose corn syrup).  Use the $1/1 printable from targets website to get them for $2 each.  Remember you are able to print 2 coupons.

Juicy juice on sale for $2.  Use $1/1 printable from targets website and get them for $1 each.

Rite Aid and Cvs in the central pa area currently have their xmas merchandise including xmas candy on sale for 75% off.  I was able to find some york peppermint patties on sale at rite aid for 75% off of $3.59.  I used the $1/2 coupon from 01/03 paper and got 2 bags for .40 cents each. 

Remember to keep your eyes pealed and your coupons handy because you never know when you will spot a good deal.

Free Johnson & Johnson First Aid Kit

When you're at Target or CVS look for small First Aid to Go kits! They are very handy to keep in a variety of places, especially when you have accident prone children. With the recent coupon in the paper ($1/1 Johnson & Johnson First Aid from 1-3-10 RP insert), you can get these for FREE at a variety of stores – including CVS  ($0.99) and Target ($0.97).

You may have to search in the trial size area, first aid area, or near checkouts.  I’ve noticed these aren’t always in the places you would think!

Giant of PA - Possible FREE Snuggle

If you have any of the $2 Snuggle coupons from the 12/6 RedPlum insert, check out this great deal that was emailed to me by Laura:

• Don’t know if you have the $2/1 Snuggle coupons that expire on 1/10/10, however Giant here in Hershey has discontinued the Jojoba and Almond Essence ones and they are now priced at $1.94 for a 32 load bottle! I had 5 coupons and also picked up ALL that was on sale with a $2/1 Coupon and paid $2.52 for 6 bottles, was able to use the $.30 overage towards the ALL.

So be on the lookout for some discontinued Snuggle!

Sudafed cold medicines.  I bought 2 packs at $6.49 each.  Use 2- $2 in-circular coupons, use 2-$2 otc medicine coupons which print at end of rcpt when you use your wellness card.  And use 2-$2 mfg coupons and price is .49 cents each pack

2 rolls of xmas wrap.  Reg price $3.99 on sale 75% off.  Use 2 $1 off seasonal merchandise coupon which prints at end of rcpt when you use your wellsness card.  You make .02 cents.

Digital reprints from instore kiosk.  Reg price .29cents each.  Use the in-circular coupon and get 10 prints for .99cents.

Nivea lip care.  On sale bogo free.  Use mfg coupon from sundays paper for bogo free so price for 2 is free.

Carefree liners on sale bogo free.  Price is 3.99.  Use 1- $1mfg coupon on 2 packs from sundays paper and use 1-$2 rite aid video value coupons so price is .99 cents for 2 packs.

Stayfree liners on sale bogo free.  Use mfg coupon from sundays paper for bogo free.  So price for 2 packs is free.

Chex mix on sale bogo free.  Reg price is 2.99.  Use 2 .50 printable coupons and use 1- $1 rite aid video value coupons so price is .99 for 2 packs.

Regular sale price for above items is $42.31.  Saved $31.81 with coupons.  This equals $10.50 I paid at the register.    Will submit for $7 worth of scr for grand total of $3.50 for my purchase.

TheCouponClippers.com - What I bought 1-03-10

TheCouponClippers.com has re-stocked their inventories.  I purchased the following this morning.  I will receive the coupons in the mail by Friday or at the latest Saturday so they should be here in time for this week's deals.  (Although, this week I don't need them for any deals)  Remember that on the site you might see a coupon for $0.55 DND but if the bar code starts with the # 5, the stores WILL double those coupons.  At this site, you need to spend almost $4 on your order.  When you sign up and start using the site, it will tell you how much you need to have to process your order.

This is what I bought:

Look at the expiration dates before you buy.  In my Weis blog below, the $2 coupons for Snuggle, I bought from this site.
